I received a Christmas card this year from a scrappy friend that had the most gorgeous little saying on it “a Pink Christmas beats a White Christmas any day” Because I only have girls I loved this too bits, Steve has said on more than one occasion that at our house in our washing we have darks, whites and pinks ! I just knew that I wanted to use this card as my inspiration for a Christmas layout. Thanks Becks, your card was perfect timing !
I was looking for the perfect Christmas tree template when I remembered that I had a cookie cutter in the shape I needed. That's why I didn’t do any Christmas cards this year, I was too busy baking gingerbread cookies and shortbread !

The Christmas decorations are now packed away for another year ……. December went so fast this year I really wanted them to say up for a bit longer BUT I also was keen to get the house back to “normal” so the day was spent wrapping and packing.
2010 for us was a WONDERFUL year. A trip to America, a trip to Melbourne for the U2 concert, good times in Mangakino, a great school year for the girls, lots of good times with friends old and new. I am thankful for all the good times we had. I am ready for what 2011 will bring.
