Biography
Hi I’m Rachel Tucker and I live in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay with my husband and two little girls.
Five years ago a friend took me into a scrapbooking store and I came out with a couple of magazines and a passion for scrapping that has grown into an obsession. There is not a day that goes by that I do not scrap in some way shape or form. I teach a monthly class at my local scrapbook store and also teach classes at SENZ. I have been published in Up2Scrap (a NZ scrapbooking magazine) on a number of occasions and am about to be published again in NZ's new magazine called Innovation.
For me scrapbooking is not so much about the memory or the recording of an event but the creativity and design process that goes into a layout or project. It is just an added bonus that what I create also contains memories of the special people in my life.
I am currently a contributor to the Sketchbook (an on-line scrapbooking community) and am on the design team for Tarisota (an amazing Australian kit company)
